Conferences & Events
In a nutshell
Geneva is a city of meetings. A few recurring events matter for science and for the rules that shape it.
We give recurring dates only. For the programme of a given year, follow the link to the organiser.
2The rhythm of health diplomacy
Some of Geneva’s meetings follow a fixed calendar. WHO’s Executive Board meets every January and settles the agenda and resolutions for the World Health Assembly; the Assembly then meets in Geneva, and a short Board meeting follows it.
Most such meetings are intergovernmental: delegations of states negotiate and vote. For the programme and documents of a given session, follow the links to the organisers.
